To the outside observer, Cleary Ridge University in suburban Ohio looks like the typical private college campus, with a pristinely landscaped campus, historic buildings and an active and popular Greek Row. Rated one of the Top 100 private colleges in the country, CRU boasts successful alumni and a talented student body, as well as world-class faculty. But, there’s always another side to the college brochures, and one that every student has to face when they are away from home for the very first time and on their own.
As a student, you have two choices: join the Rush of students eager to affiliate themselves with a sorority or fraternity, or remain unaffiliated. For those that choose to Rush, and who make the cut with the sorority and fraternity members who use every dirty little trick in the book to get the best pledges-- and who have a constant rivalry-- parties, connections and an inside look at the rivalries, backstabbing and angst of Greek life awaits. For those who do not choose to join, the campus offers plenty of opportunities, from art shows to a campus newspaper, from a restaurant in need of wait staff to coffee shops where students hang out, to nights of partying at Scotty’s Bar off campus.
Join the ranks of a college campus where an escort service secretly hires girls who can’t afford to pay for college from amongst the sororities and peddles them to men who are willing to pay for their company, where professors secretly carry on relationships with their students, where frat boys sell drugs from library aisles to their CRU clients, and where sorority and fraternity presidents use relationships with one another to further their own agendas. Behind the perky and preppy façade of the most respectable Greek houses there are a lot of lies and secrets, and behind the doors of the one party fraternity on campus there’s a lot of fun to be had. Friendships, rivalries, drama and of course, the beginnings of the competitiveness that is required to make a success in the career world are all here for the taking.
