Game Stats
Weeks: November 18th - December 1st, 2008, Fall Semester, 11th and 12th weeks of classes.
Weather: Cold weather has arrived! Possibility of snow at the end of the month!
Time Change: December 1st we will begin RPing the month of December 2008 gametime. With holidays coming up in both RL and in the game, we will also use January as a 'catch up' month so that we can include any holiday trips home that might be planned, etc, or just work on any other SLs that maybe we've wanted to begin but haven't. That means that February 1st, 2010 we will have the time change to begin the Spring Semester of classes for our characters.
ClearyRidgeUniversity
Summer has come and gone, and everyone is ready to head back to the fun and drama of college life, and for the members of the Greek houses at the university, it promises to be a year full of new adventures and plenty of surprises. Classes, relationships, friendships, house politics, friendly (and not so friendly) rivalries, parties and social events, and more drama await the students who return to campus.
GreekLife RPG is an OC Greek Row roleplaying game set on a college campus in Ohio, which centers around the life of college students involved in the Greek system and others connected to them. Will you play a member of a sorority or fraternity on Greek Row? An active sister or brother, or a freshman pledging to the house? A college student unrelated to the Greek system, but still attending the parties for the socialization and the fun? A student who is so not 'Greek material' and yet finds themselves involved with a Greek? A professor? All are welcome and needed at Cleary Ridge University.
Upcoming Activities
-November 27th, 2008 was Thanksgiving, so remember that your characters would have a long Thanksgiving weekend for any trips back home for the holiday.
-The Annual All-Greek Winter Formal will be held for all CRU Greek houses, so all members of a Greek house are invited, and tickets are now on sale for any non-Greek dates. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the local Food Bank for their holiday food drive. Formal attire is required and this year's theme will be "A Winter Night's Dream". All sorority houses are asked to help out in the planning and decorations for the formal, which is a play on the Shakespeare play from which the name is derived, though attire is to be formal and not costumes. Fraternities will be responsible for helping to set up the venue and selling the tickets and collecting donations for the local food drive. The Greek houses of CRU are looking forward to an evening to remember.
